Dominguez High School is celebrating an extraordinary milestone: a 98% graduation rate and a 96% college acceptance rate for the 2024–25 school year. This achievement marks a dramatic rise from just a decade ago, when fewer than 60% of seniors were enrolling in college.

Compton Unified School District (CUSD) has recorded remarkable achievements on the most recent administration of the California Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBAC), surpassing previous benchmarks in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. This year’s preliminary results demonstrate a significant 8-point increase in ELA and a 6.4-point increase in Mathematics.

Scholars from Compton Unified School District (CUSD) showcased their STEM excellence at the Aerial Drone Competition in San Diego last week, bringing home multiple championship titles. Sixteen teams representing nine schools demonstrated their skills in coding, teamwork, and drone navigation.
